I know a lot of people who are always looking for work but would prefer it to be "working from home" (mothers with children, etc.)
I have a website and information on a real legit work at home job. It is not sales online or anything like that it is actually for a CSR job.
The website is called "west at home" www.westathome.com
You apply to become an agent, through their website. It can take a while to get a response mine too about 3 months to get a response. Your application will be put on hold depending on what spots they have available.
What the job consists of...
Becoming a trained CSR from your home and your computer. They supply the software you need to get started.
The training can last anywhere from a day to about 2 weeks depending on how fast of a learner you are.
Once your all done with your training you can then schedule your hours of work. You pick your own hours! You can do 1 hour a day, 2 hours a day, 3 hours a day, 4 days a week, 5 days a week, etc. The more you work the more you get paid. They pay anywhere between $8.25 an hour to $9.25 an hour.
The hours you schedule to work are the hours you MUST work. They will fire you if you don't.
What you will need..
You will need the internet.
You will need a phone that does not have call waiting or any other fancy add-ons. Only because if you have call waiting an someone calls in while you are on the line with another customer you will get in trouble for not answering their phone calls.
You will need some spare "quiet" time to do the work, like maybe a private room in your house, while kids are at school, something to where you wont get any distractions while your working. Customers don't like hearing screaming children in the back ground.
You will need to have good reading skills as when you get the job and get a customer on the software they have is a word prompt which you will repeat what it says to the customer. Every time a customer asks a question the software screens the system for an answer and once the answer is found it will be displayed in the word prompt. So no worries of having to know exactly what to say as it will be right in front of you!
I would suggest having a High School diploma or a GED when applying for the job as your chances of getting hired before others is better. They for some reason don't ever check for that sort of thing though, you just say whether you have one or not.
Who will you be a CSR for?
That is unknown. West at home hires agents for multiple companies. Such as payless shoes, sears, jc pennies, online stores such as amazon.com, ebay.com, etc. there are hundreds of stores who use west at home to find them good CSR agents.
How do I know this is real?
Because I have seen it personally being done and I have personally seen the paychecks. When I was in GA staying with my sister she had a job through them. I watched her train for it (an helped her), I watched her work and schedule her own hours. I even seen the money they paid her which got directly deposited into her bank account weekly. The biggest check I seen her get was $530 an some change. She made that much because she schedule a LOT of hours one week.
Anyways there is that information for that tid bit.
I also have other ways to make money online however you will need to do some deep searching for information on everything as it IS a tricky business.
I have a list of affiliate programs which you can join and advertise their products. List below....
My favorites
Shareasale.com
CJ.com (aka commission junction)
Ebay.com has their own affiliate program as well (though its hard to get into..)
exclusivecpa.com (more in terms of "free products" like offers an such")
I could go on and on with the list however these are ones in which I know are good. I use all of the above besides for ebay.com the only reason I said that one even though I am not with them is because they were with CJ.com for a long time an I advertised their products.
On CJ.com when I did the ebay.com offers I made $50 my first month (2 sign-ups) and $450 my second month (18 sign-ups) they paid $25 per person who registered an account with ebay and made a bid on an auction. Then they switched their product to $45 per person who registers an account with ebay an ebay opens a store.
I did shareasale, and exclusivecpa but didn't really do much on there I made about $50 between the both of them.
What is an affiliate program?
An affiliate program is a partner ship with a company (or multiple companies) there are a lot of sites who have affiliate programs but they use a "middle man" website to get advertisers. The middle man being CJ.com, shareasale, and exclusivecpa.
The affiliate programs provide the coding (for your links) and all the other little goodies for you to make it easier to promote. You take the links they give you and post them on your own website, a blog, get some paid advertising ads (I wouldn't suggest paying for an ad), open your own GPT site, etc.
When someone buys something through your link you get paid a % of that sale, some affiliate programs have flat rates per sale (meaning like $50 per sale, $60 per sale, etc.), % of sales (meaning 10%, 20%), etc. Most affiliate programs pay monthly though their are some that pay weekly, bi-weekly, an some even pay every 2 or 3 months. I usually just do the monthly payment ones as its easier..
There is no fees to join an affiliate program nor are their any fees to advertise any links. IF you are ever asked to pay for anything involving a job DON'T DO IT!
What you need to get accepted by an affiliate program?
You need some type of website. Some affiliate programs allow free websites (no purchase of a domain name), some allow blogs, some allow only domain websites (meaning .com, .net, etc.), some allow only TOP website names. The list goes on.....
You should get some kind of experience in the industry before you join so you know how it works. (I would suggest joining a GPT site as they use affiliate programs to promote their links)
Usually most affiliate programs prefer that the site you are using to join gets a ton of hits daily (like 2000 people visit your website daily). So I would suggest getting a website or blog an start promoting it to get hits to your site.
If you can get your website in the search engine of like google or yahoo an get so many hits on your site that would also be helpful as the more hits on your site the farther up the list it goes.
How do you promote your site?
Free advertisements - so it don't cost you a CENT!
Use keywords in your site description - Though I would recommend using keywords that would possibly describe your products EXAMPLE - if you are advertising for a game site like pogo or game duell you can put as a keyword "free online game play", if you are selling a product for avon you could put "free samples" (as its well known that avon does offer free samples) point being always use a keyword that people DO search for on a daily bases. I would not recommend using "work at home opportunities" or any gimmicky sounding keyword that would come off as a scam.
Word of mouth - You can use friends, family, your community and just about anyone you might know to help you get the word about your website out.
Fliers - Post up some fliers at like walmart, discount stores, etc.
Get some free business cards - The cards will be free however you will have to pay for the shipping which is usually about $4.95. (vistaprint.com is a good place to get free business cards)
Be creative - talk to people about your website.
Post stuff on your website for like coupons, deals, etc.
The list could go on... Main thing to do is be creative in ways to advertise your website...
Anyways that should sum it up a little on ways to make money online and remember never PAY for any work at home job.
